‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’Matthew 25:40
The Least of These
Recently we had first bike trip for our middle and older groups of children. We had 7 adults and 15 kids from 8 up to 14 years of age. Children were very organized in riding the bikes and none of them fell behind the main column of cyclists. Our destination was a place in the forest by the lake. We stayed there for one full day and had time to rest. We played games, swam on inflatable boat, cooked food on fire, worshiped God, and learned how to live with each other. Trip back home was easy and smooth. As we cycled through the small villages we probably bought majority of their ice-cream as children loved to buy it during our stops! After the trip we all cleaned the van that carried all of our luggage, our bikes, helments, and kitchen supplies. At the end we talked with everybody about what they liked in the trip and what did they learn. Many of them mentioned that they learned how to respect others. Often they had conflicts among each other and we tried to teach them how to love and respect one another so we were happy to hear that some of them learned something from this trip.In conclusion, we want to thank God who kept us from injuries, unpleasant situations and blessed us with great time! All glory be to God!!!
