Day 3:First part of the day did not go as we planned. We tried to prepare everything for the camp but there were still moments when we had to improvise and those moments truly tested our faith and endurance. For two hours we had to stay in the building due to air raid alert. Part of the time we did colorful bracelets and part of the time we had to fill with a cartoon. Praise God we were able to sit everybody in one room and had equipment to show the cartoon!Second part of the day was us running all around the village looking for lost armor pieces. Children were exhausted but they completed all the missions. However, the armor pieces the brought were “stolen” by one of our church members. Therefore, we had to punish children but instead of punishing all of them one of our leaders took all punishment on himself. It was an illustration of Jesus’s crucifixion, which we talked about with children that day. What appeared to be a loss in people’s eyes was really a beginning of victory.
