Last week two of our members Maryna and Daniil attended
military chaplain course. Along with active chaplains, they
learned how to lead small groups for soldiers, their relatives or
any group of traumatized people. The course was developed
with intention of offering people support, opportunity to speak
up about their pain and introducing them to Jesus. It had a great
balance between psychological and spiritual parts.
During the course, they have heard many heart breaking
stories of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians. The damage that war
caused and continues causing to our nation is enormous!
Therefore, we understand that church has to be an answer to
these challenges, a place of restoration for the broken ones.
