Song is a powerful way of sharing information that God has given to us. Angels who were spreading the news about newborn Jesus did not just tell about it, they sang a song of praise to King Jesus. In Ukraine, we have tradition of visiting our friends, family or even random people and sing Carols on Christmas. We do this because song about newborn King is a powerful message that literally opens doors and hearts for the Good News. Traditionally, guests who sang Carols would get treats from the owners of the house. Today, instead of that our church gives them a food basket. However, the most touching for those whom we visit is love and attention. We can be source of Christ love and attention for those who feel lonely, wounded and hopeless. Sometimes it takes as little as a simple song.
