Christmas in Ukraine is one of the times when people are the
most open for conversations and visits. They can let you come in
to their house and sing carols or visit a Christmas concert and
that’s exactly what we did
We invited people to our church for a fair to collect money
for Ukrainian military. We sold food and drinks that we prepared
ourselves, sold some clothes and household items. All of that can
be useful for people so at the same time we helped locals and
our military.
On orthodox Christmas following our tradition, we went to
sing carols around the village. We visited more than 20 houses.
In each of them our team had a chance to bless people with the
good news of Christmas, beautiful carols and food presents. It
was a blessed time for us and for the people whom we visited. At
the end of the day we were cold, hungry but happy that with the
joy of Christ!
