Christmas festivities this year have topped all of our expectations!First, on Saturday 25th together with a local protestant church we organized a Christmas fair in the center of the village. We had a nativity scene there, food court with hotdogs, hot drinks, and sweets. We had a fireplace for people to get warm and sang national Ukrainian carols. All of us were excited about the event because it is the first time that any church organized something like that in our village. The two churches cooperated, planned and worked hard two weeks ahead to create a festive atmosphere. Our goal was to prepare a good quality fair so that people would be interested to come and through accomplishing that we had a chance to speak to people about their life, about Jesus and His birth. God is good, He has made it all possible! We also thank church “Way of Hope” for doing it with us and local authorities for their help and appreciation of our initiative.Second, on Sunday 26th we had another long day but this time we spent it inside of the church building. In the morning, we celebrated Christmas with children. Our kid’s club team prepared a program, skit, and treats. We enjoyed this time with the youngest ones of our church. Immediately after kid’s program, we started preparing for adult celebration. As time came, we had a full room of people. Time spent together was precious and fun. We all remembered what God has done for us through Jesus Christ. Everyone had a chance to show their drama talent as we showed different Bible stories with integrated product advertisement. It turned out to be real fun even for the oldest ones of us. At the auction people had a chance to buy different goods and donate that money to buy food for the people in need. Concluding dance of the evening sent us home with smiles on our faces. Praise the Lord!
