Coronavirus has made major changes in our plans for this summer. We did not have a big summer camp and cancelled children club. However, there was one event that we did not cancel – bike trip. In August we had our usual three day bike trip for children and their parents. Kids waited for it because we had to take a break in children ministry for a while. Some of them did not see each other or us for a long time! This time distance was not as long as usual, so parents and children had enough time to build relationships and explore the world around them. It was a relaxing trip, which is not always the case when you take many children on a bicycle ride. Our camp was located in a beautiful place by a lake. Kids learned to set the tents, find firewood and cook food on an open fire. They swam in the lake and played teambuilding games. Although the distance of the bike ride was not long but for children, it was a learning opportunity how to be a team and ride in one pace.
