While the quarantine continues, we are doing some maintenance work in the church and on the property. It is a perfect time for such projects because the building is free from people and we have enough time to do what we want. It would have been much harder to do these projects if the church was functioning as usual. We started our work from an old septic system. It consisted of two deep holes in the ground that we did not need anymore. Since installation of a new septic system, we have a part of the property that has to be leveled, and there is a lot of extra soil. Therefore, we used it to fill up those two deep holes. In addition, we have an open well on the property, which does not have a good water and is pretty shallow. We finally got to it and filled it up with soil but before that we had to climb in and unhook and old pump, and pull it out from the well. Finally, that septic system and the open well are covered and we did not have to take somewhere the extra soil from our property. Then we started to fix water and sewer pipes in the house. What seemed to be a change of one pipe turned out in to a change of majority of them because they were mixed together, with some being buried in the walls and others being rusted, and clogged. However, after many hours of work brothers changed all of the pipes that needed to be changed and installed a new sink in the church kitchen. In addition to these projects, we have rebuilt and old sauna into a storage place, built a new compost box, and pruned the trees. Ladies have cleaned the new storage place from old garbage, where they found interesting suits, and moved some flowers. Currently we are working on the wall in the house. We already have torn down the wallpaper and are trying to find the reason why is it getting so that we can remove the mold from it. We are thankful and happy that we have time to do this work now and people willing to help with it! Praise the Lord!
