Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The May 2022 Belize trip was a huge blessing. Sherrel and I
had wonderful fellowship with Nathan, Elida, their children
Narilee, Joycelen and NJ, Nathan’s family and Elida’s family.
In Golden Stream, about a 2 hour bus ride from Maya Center
where Nathan and Elida live, is where Nathan and his 13
brothers and sisters grew up and is the Sunday school they
minister at. The Sunday school has grown from 2 children to over
20 children, youth and young adults. They shared with us songs
and scriptures they had memorized. We had a wonderful time of
fellowship with them and Nathan’s family. Nathan’s mom and
family shared a delicious meal with us.
I what to share that this area of Belize has NO cell service or
internet!!!!! They are serving God faithfuly, amazingly happy and
raise almost all their own food.
In Maya Center, Nathan is on the worship team at their
church and they work with the Sunday school and youth. Elida’s family lives in Maya Center and spoil
Sherrel and I with great food!!!
Sherrel and I have been blessed with the love of Nathan and Elida’s children. They call Sherrel granny
and me grandpa. They run to our car each day when we drive up to their home and give us hugs. One of
the highlights each trip is going to the swimming pool at the Reserve about a 30 minute drive from their
home. The family had never been to a pool to swim before we took them a few trips ago. We went four
times this trip and the children never wanted to leave even after four hours.
Nathan and his family are a huge blessing to this region of Belize and to Sherrel and I. We are very
proud to have them as part of The Least of These team!!!!
