Our trip to Karpathian Mountains left many memories and photos. We want to share with you a response of one of our members – Katya Sperkach. Once upon a time, in my childhood I had a dream to visit Kyiv and Karpathians. Now, for almost half a year I live in Kyiv. My husband and me spent our honeymoon in the mountains and climbed the highest of them – Goverla mountain. However, to fulfill completely my dream I wanted to visit Karpathians in the winter. Therefore, together with Light church we went on vacation to my dream destination. It was like a winter fairytale! We lived in chalet in the mountains. We had a great time there! We visited thermal waters (for the first time in my life), cast iron vats that are heated with fire from the bottom (also my first time there), we walked in the nature, climbed a local mountain and had a photo-shoot there. We laughed had much fun and many photos! Also, for the first time in my life I went to ski. I spent whole day on an easy level slope. However, it was enough for me for my first time. I learned how to stand on skis, brake and turn so now we all are thinking about where we going to go next time. On our way home, we made a short stop for lunch in Lviv city but, unfortunately, due to lock-down almost everything was closed and it was hard to even find a WC. Thus, my dream of visiting Lviv started with a bad first impression. Nevertheless, the most precious part of our trip was fellowship. Despite our tight schedule, we had time to fellowship together and separately – boys and girls. Evening fellowship with tea, guitar songs, morning meetings for breakfast, fun travelling with songs, and having lunch in the bus. We experienced whole spectrum of emotions that cannot be expressed in words. Still, together with my husband we are going through the videos and photos and store these memories in our hearts for many years.
