Our trips to Kozarovychi. On the outskirts of the village Irpin river flows in the Kyiv reservoir. This is the line where hardest battles for Kyiv were fought so many houses are damaged here. One of the houses was damaged by a russian helicopter that fell down on it. Whole house burned down with the helicopter. Praise God, owners of the house are alive but now they have to live in the cave. Everything that they owned is lost… That is why together with our friends from another church we are currently restoring their barn house for them to live in it in the nearest future. We spent the night in neighboring town Dymer. There we heard funny stories from locals about foolish russian soldiers. How they were shocked with quality of life in Ukraine, how russians tried to buy 33 ounces of vodka for 2.5 gallons of fuel from locals, and how their soldiers accidentally shot themselves in the night because their St. George's ribbons were not glowing in the dark. Unfortunately, there were many sad stories too and a lot of damage that occupation troops left after themselves. However, God can heal our wounds and help us endure until the victory!
