Three weeks ago, war has dramatically changed our lives. Early morning sleep, 24th of February and plans for the year 2022 have been destroyed with the first rockets that hit our land. Some of us left to Western Ukraine while others stayed in Plesetske, some of us moved abroad while others moved to their relatives further away from battle sites. Regardless of location, three weeks ago our emotional palette, where dark colors dominate, have painted our world in which we have hoped that the war would never start. Today war is raging on. Our enemy is destroying our nation, trying to swallow our freedom but despair and hopelessness are in the past. They have been replaced with faith in the Lord, prayer and joy! Today we help each other, our soldiers. We rethink ourselves and life as such. War has made us rethink our priorities and what yesterday was precious today lost its value, and what yesterday laid in the dust today we carry near our heart. We struggle, pray and keep our faith for the sake of tomorrow. Tomorrow we believe Ukraine will be a free, sovereign country. Justice will come and those who were offended will be comforted. Those who have offended others will be punished. We will change, we will be better. God will heal our hearts and places where shells exploded He will bear new life. Tomorrow, we all will gather, we will cry, laugh, talk a lot, and then we all will take brushes and will paint our Ukraine with bright colors!
