Baptism is similar to a birth of a child. Not physical but spiritual
birth. When a child is born and it takes its first breath everyone
around it rejoices. The same joy we had this Sunday when two of our
dear friends devoted their lives to Christ!
It all started when on Monday David talked with the pastor Vitaliy
and said that he wanted to be baptized. The next day Vika called
Vitaliy and said that she wanted to get baptized. Through the whole
year no one ever talked about this and in span of one day, two
separate people showed desire to connect their lives with Jesus. For
some it may be a coincidence but we believe that this desire in their
hearts is not a coincidence.
Many people gathered to celebrate their decision and support
them in this important moment. The final part of celebration was long
fellowship and a long buffet! May God bless David and Vika and help
them in their life journey!
