Summer 2010
Sevastopol/Simferopol
We
spent
a
week
in
Sevastopol
visiting
friends
and
preparing
for
a
camp
with
Pastor
Andrey’s
church
in
Sevastopol.
The
original
plans
for
the
camp
did
not
work
out,
so
the
church
had
a
day
camp
at
their
church.
In
the
end
they
did
not
need
our
help.
They
have
a
great children's ministry team.
This
is
Alex
&
Sveta,
Elijah
(oldest
son),
Karina,
and
Sveta
kissing
Evon.
Also,
Alex
and
Vitalik
working
on computers.
Sevastopol
Simferopol
God
had
a
plan!!!!!
We
called
the
church
in
Simferopol
that
sent
about
half
of
the
children
to
Camp
Hope
and
asked
if
there
was
a
ministry
opportunity
there????
The
pastor’s
wife
said,
“My
husband
asked
me
to
ask
you
to
come
minister
to
the
children
and
families
in
Simferopol
but
I
told
him
you
were
too
busy.”
WELL
let
me
tell
you
we
have
had
an
overwhelming
week
here
in
Simferopol.
The
team
is
staying
in
the
church
office/apartment.
We
have
had
children
here
every
day,
praying,
playing,
singing,
Bible
studies
and
EATING!!!!!
We
have
also
had
programs
in
the
yards
of
apartments
with
children
and
families
listening.
Today,
Saturday
July
24th,
was
filed
with,
a
Tatar
celebration
that
went
from
5:00
to
8:30
PM
with
many
cultural
performances.
Two
girls
who
have
been
coming
to
our
meetings
sang
and
danced.
Then
we
went
back
to
the
apartment
and
had
13
for
dinner.
It
is
now
10:33
PM and most of them are still here. Praise the Lord!!!!!!
