Youth Group at the Ministry Center. Most are unchurched. Several parents also came. Singing songs, Bible study, then cookies and juice with a craft. Great time. Great ministry.

2015 Fall Report

October 23, 2015

The youth ministry in our village, Plesetskoye, is doing well. Vitalik & Marina are exploring many new avenues to reach the youth of this region. In the last two weeks we have had several meetings to investigate what resources are available. One meeting was very interesting. Vitalik and Marina introduced us to a truly multicultural couple, she was born in Mexico, he was born in Russia. They both immigrated to America and became US citizens. They met, married, raised a family and are now missionaries in Ukraine. She is a very skilled school teacher and administrator. A plan was made for Marina to contact the principal of the school here in Plesetskoye to see if the principal would be open to have training for both the youth and the teachers. The principal has said yes!!! This is a huge step. This school needs help in many ways. It is out of control and needs God’s moral teachings.

Next we had meetings with a group of Korean missionaries. This group has given 23 HUGE boxes of new sport clothing. Vitalik and I picked up half yesterday and will pick up the other half Friday. We will use them in the school and also for church evangelism. Vitalik and I were invited to have a wonderful Korean lunch yesterday. What a treat!!!

VITALIK’S COURT DATE

Vitalik finally received a court date yesterday. Court is set for November 10th. Please pray all will go well and that God’s favor will cover Vitalik in all the court proceedings. I will keep you posted.

Ukraine has it’s elections on Sunday, October 25th. The election is like our Midterm elections. Very important for local governments. Please pray for Godly leaders.

This was GREAT ministry. Good teaching, great fellowship and wonderful friendships. Several from bike trips the last two years.

On October 30th a group of 20 young adults had a gathering at the Ministry Center. Vitalik and Marina hosted and Daniil gave a presentation on relationships.

Much fun was had!!! Roasted sausages over an outdoor fire. Sherrel made mashed potatoes and a HUGE salad:))) Oh yes, did I mention it was an overnighter:))))
